Major Areas of Corvin Promenade
- The promenade
Along the lengthwise axis of this new quarter people will enjoy its emblematic namesake: a green promenade that will be the main artery linking the various sections, which host different functions. At 700 meters, the promenade will be longer than Váci Street and its 36-meter width exceeds that of List Ferenc Square, a popular restaurant area, also positioned along the Ring Road. - Corvin Residential Area
Close to 2,700 new apartments will be built along the promenade and in Nagytemplom Street, all meeting high standards both in terms of structural and interior features, and amenities. - Corvin Atrium – Shopping Street
This arcade section starting at Corvin Multiplex will offer great shopping, services, and entertainment choices - all under the same large glass roof.
Close to 150 shops will open here: supermarket, fashion, sports clothing and accessories, toy stores, and electronics stores – just to name a few. In addition to self-service dining of great variety, visitors will find other services, like post office, bank branch, dry cleaners, pharmacy, and more. - Dining and Hospitality
The open-air section of the Promenade will be filled on either side with colorful restaurants, pubs, and small health food stores and other lifestyle shops. On an approximately 20,000 m2 combined area, these will be housed in the street level commercial units of the apartment buildings, and their terraces will populate the promenade. - Corvin Sports and Fitness
One of the city’s most impressive multi-purpose sporting facility will also offer wellness services and a large swimming pool on a total area of 2,600 m2. - Corvin Offices
Next to and above Corvin Atrium shopping street, class-A office buildings will rise in 3 phases. Close to 130,000 m2 of combined space will be available with flexible options for using the large, unbroken interior levels. - CorvinSciencePark
In the vicinity of the Teaching Hospital of Semmelweis University (Klinikák) a 77,000 m2 area is allocated to this new campus. It will be home to those companies and institutions connected to R&D activity that want to benefit from the proximity of the well-known educational/medical institutions already present nearby, and who also want to take advantage of the Promenade’s colorful choice of services. - Underground Parking Garages
Parking problems will be resolved and no new ones will be created despite the increase in visitor numbers to the area. Close to 5,000 new parking places will be available under ground, and cyclists will be able to safely park their bikes in designated storage spaces.
